Meet the Dentist

Charles T. Hopkins, III DMD

Charles (Chase) T. Hopkins, III DMD is a native of Griffin, Georgia, but also spent many summers on St. Simons Island during his childhood years. A fourth-generation dentist, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology. Then, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Hopkins was awarded a one-year fellowship in Oral Surgery at Georgia Regents University in Augusta. During that time, he received training in advanced surgical techniques and placement location of dental implants for maximum patient benefit. With years of dental education and experience, Dr. Hopkins provides comprehensive general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry services.
Dr. Hopkins and his wife, Anna, have two sons, Charlie and Linton, and a daughter, Nancy. They are active members of St. Simons Community Church. In addition to spending time with his beloved family, Dr. Hopkins enjoys upland hunting, saltwater fishing, and golfing.

Everyone at Plantation Dental is amazing from the receptionist all the way up to the top Dr Chase Hopkins is amazing, and the hygienists are kind caring people, the staff  are always very encouraging and uplifting, rarely do you get to go to a dental office with a smile on your face when you walk in as well as when you walk out, this is one of those places ,and I am so grateful to have found it!! I would list everyone's name because everyone in there has improve not only my teeth and mouth but my mindset on going to a dental office.

I have been avoiding my dental work for years because of my severe anxiety about it and in one visit my world was turned upside down. Dr.Hopkins and his staff did a killer job, made me feel comfortable, and did an incredible fix for a very reasonable amount.  I had to do my front tooth so I was worried how it would turn out.  I’m so impressed and will be telling everyone to go to them. They have a raving fan here for sure!

Professional, friendly staff & Dr. Hopkins treats his patients with care & compassion! I know, I've had some extensive dental work performed & Dr. Hopkins was amazing! If you're having issues or just want the "best" dental cleaning (Erica) please don't pass them up!!
